DIORAMA

A diorama is a scaled reproduction of a real environment, built to give a visual idea of a no longer existing situation or “scene”.
This kind of model is very usual in museums, where it generally reproduces hypothetical reconstructions of historical or archaeological contexts.
While in 3D modelling every element is digital, a diorama is a real, tangible object that needs, to be built, real materials and artisan knowledge; this generally means high costs and long times of production.
Thanks to our know-how about 3D modelling, 3D printing and milling technologies, we are able to realize morphologically correct dioramas, highly faithful to the originals, with lower costs and in shorter times, being mostly mechanical the building process; this doesn’t mean to give up the artistic value.
