Working in Egnazia for the MUSAS project

Working in Egnazia for the MUSAS project

Thursday, 01 February 2018

Last Monday 29th of January, we went to the Archaeological Museum of Egnazia, near Monopoli (Bari), to make the digital acquisition of some archaeological finds it preserves, as part of the activity of the MUSAS project.

The project started last year with the acquisition of 40 finds at the Archaeological Museum of Baia (Pozzuoli), and aims to obtain a 3D reconstruction of about 100 archaeological objects, recovered during decades of underwater digs. They all are, then, treasures coming from archaeological sites now submerged. After Baia and Egnazia, Crotone and Capo Colonna will be the next stages.
