Registrations Open for the 3D-4CH Winter School 2026

From 21 to 23 January 2026, the Art & History Museum in Brussels will host three intensive days of training, networking, and European collaboration dedicated to museum professionals, digitisation experts, and digital cultural heritage practitioners.

The Winter School is an international event focused on the use of 3D technologies for the preservation, documentation, and enhancement of Cultural Heritage, organised within the framework of the European project 3D-4CH.
In collaboration with the Twin it! Part II campaign (Europeana Foundation and the European Commission), this initiative offers a unique opportunity to deepen professional skills, receive targeted training in 3D cultural heritage practices, and contribute to the development of the 3D Online Competence Centre — a European hub for sharing best practices in the field.

Programme Overview

Day 1 (21 January – hybrid format): Opening keynote and thematic sessions on introducing 3D projects within cultural institutions, featuring practical examples and case studies.
Open to up to 100 participants on-site, with online participation available.

Days 2 and 3 (22–23 January – on-site only): Hands-on workshop on 3D digitisation techniques and tools, covering all stages from project design to workflow implementation.
Limited to 25 participants, selected through an application process.

How to Participate

Registrations are open until 31 October 2025 via the Pretix platform.
The results of the workshop selection will be announced on 7 November 2025.

To apply for the workshop (Days 2–3), participants must submit a motivation letter and an up-to-date CV, uploaded directly during the Pretix registration process.
