PlaceMUS XR: Participate in the European Survey on Immersive Experiences for Musical Heritage

The PlaceMUS XR project has launched a Europe-wide survey exploring how sound, music, and immersive technologies are used and perceived in museums and cultural heritage sites.

The initiative aims to gather the needs, practices, and expectations of different communities—including museum curators, educators, professionals from the cultural and creative industries, researchers, and the general public—to support the development of new digital tools and guidelines for creating immersive experiences related to musical heritage.

The solutions developed by the project will be integrated into the European Collaborative Cloud for Cultural Heritage (ECCCH), contributing to new ways of accessing, sharing, and experiencing cultural heritage content.

Participation in the survey is anonymous and takes approximately 10–15 minutes. The results will be published in open access.

Deadline to participate: 24 July 2026
