Hull Washer simulator
The Corydoras Hull Washer is the first maritime facility ever capable of automatically removing the fouling from the hull of a ship . It has been conceived as an alternative to the traditional manual cleaning process and eliminates the need for antifouling paints, protecting the environment from chemical poisons and allowing for lifting a boat to carry out the required maintenance works.
We have created an interactive 3D simulator for this system, which was presented at the Genoa Boat Show 2008 by Impianti Portuali e Servizi Morace s.r.l. The simulator allowed for observing the product from many different angles and to pilot its movements, testing its functionality and effectiveness in virtual reality.
