Thursday, 06 June 2024

On 22-23 May, 3D Research attended the CREAMARE project partners meeting, in Zagreb, Croatia.

The meeting brought together the main partners of the project to discuss the results achieved and to plan the next activities.

The partners present at the meeting were: the Ministry of Culture from Italy, Pragma IOT AE and Atlantis Consulting from Greece, the University of Cádiz from Spain, Pro-Progression from Hungary and Novena from Croatia.

The first day was held at Wespa Spaces in Zagreb. Discussions focused on the project's progress in its 24th month of implementation. The main work packages were presented, with a focus on the development of the Serious Game, which aims to involve the public in conserving underwater cultural heritage.

In the afternoon, the meeting focused on synergy projects. One was TOURAL, which promotes sustainable tourism in rural and remote areas of Europe. The Sea Change project connects the public with ocean ecosystems through art. E-ROUTES fuses cultural heritage with digital tools. The CREAMARE project is committed to working with other projects and to using cultural heritage for the benefit of society.

The comprehensive programme enabled the partners to concentrate on their achievements, deliberate on forthcoming challenges and devise future activities to safeguard the underwater cultural heritage.
