Last week the journalist Rosita Giorgi, made an exclusive report about us for Repubblica TV.
The piece talks about iMare Culture, a research project about the development of new technologies for the exploitation of the Submerged Archaeological Heritage, that involves 3D Research as a partner. In the video linked to the article, there are the interviews with Professor Fabio Bruno (founder of 3D Research), Saverino De Leo (founder and CEO) and Marco Cozza (project manager), talking about the technologies we are developing. In particular, they show the functioning of an app which allows people to virtually dive into some underwater archaeological sites, such as the beautiful "Villa with Protiro Entrance" of Baia, where the project partners have recently spent some days making functioning tests. The 3D reconstruction of the Villa has been realized thanks to the collaboration with the Underwater Archaeology interventions team of the ISCR, NIAS, lead by Barbara Davidde, and with the Archaeological Park of the Phlegraean Fields.
