3D Research presented "CREAMARE The Game" at the world's most important gaming event: "Gamescom 2024", in Cologne, 21-23 August!

We are delighted to share the latest developments of our CREAMARE project, supported by the Creative Europe Programme, which is dedicated to the enhancement and promotion of underwater cultural heritage. This ambitious project aims to raise awareness of crucial issues threatening our oceans, such as pollution and other environmental challenges. CREAMARE is unique in its transnational collaborative model, bringing together underwater archaeologists, scientists and creative experts in the co-production of a serious game.

Thanks to the synergetic work of the partners, led by the 3D Research team, we developed a video game that allows users to virtually explore nine Mediterranean archaeological sites, meticulously reconstructed in 3D.

Creamare: The Game is an educational and inspirational experience designed to celebrate underwater wonders and raise awareness of the importance of protecting the health of the oceans for future generations.

Our Serious Game has been selected by Creative Europe Media to participate in 'Gamescom 2024', the world's most prestigious gaming trade show held annually in Cologne, Germany. This year's edition exceeded all expectations with over 320,000 visitors from around 120 countries, including over 32,000 industry professionals. The Gamescom 2024 event also set a new record for global reach with over 310 million video views, including 40 million for the Gamescom Opening Night Live alone.

3D Research's participation at the Creative Europe Media stand was intense and productive. During the three-day event, we had the opportunity to make numerous contacts and participate in several networking meetings. The project generated a great deal of interest and CREAMARE - The Game, although still in its unfinished state, was enthusiastically received by both industry professionals and gamers.

We are very proud of the results and look forward to further updates!
