Underwater 3D recording & modelling: 2nd International Workshop

The 2nd edition of the International Workshop about the latest techniques of 3D recording and modelling of the Underwater Cultural Heritage will take place in Limassol (Cyprus), on the 2nd and 3rd of May 2019.

The event, called "Underwater 3D Recording & Modelling: a tool for modern applications and CH recording", is organized by ISPRS, Cipa Heritage Documentation and Fondazione Bruno Kessler in partnership with  Cyprus University of Technology who will host the workshop. 3D Research and iMare Culture are proud of being sponsors. 

Researchers, companies and practitioners working in the field of 3D Photogrammetry, Computer Graphics, Virtual and Augmented Reality and Archaeology are kindly invited to join the workshop. The final submission deadline is on the 1st of March 2019. The topics will include: 

- 3D reconstruction for VR and AR applications

- Underwater Cultural Heritage and Archaeology

- Underwater 3D metrology

- Marine biology

- Underwater 3D scanning

- Underwater platforms (ROV, robots, etc.)

- 4D underwater modelling

- 3D bathymetry

- Active and passive sensors integration and fusion

- Data processing and 3D modelling

- Reference control and accuracy assessment
