105 MUSEUM
The history, the Albanian sea and its people
On the south Albanian coast, not far from the town of Vlorë, a witness of the history of this country is still anchored to the dock: the Nëndetësja 105, a military submarine and a Cold War veteran, a real symbol of the arduous Albanian independence. Completely restored, the boat is going to be the focus of the 105 Museum project, a cutting-edge cultural complex aiming to transform this piece of coast in the touristic attractor it should be.
The Museum’s structures, designed to be perfectly integrated with the landscape and to hold against the marine climate, will host a multimedia and sensorial exhibition built on the Edutainment principles, so as to attract the interest especially of the young public.
